Ah also didn't realise you were changing the car colour. Imola red should look fantastic. Always liked this project and the plans sound perfect, I actually think this is going to be one of your cars that you finish and will actually be a success lol.
Wouldn't mind buying it once you've finished it
Lol i have no choice - car was a £4k car when i bought it, have well over £2k in parts spent already lol cant just give up and lose my ass, this is why im doing one job at a time....
Once these body work bits are done, then its the 4 link axle, watts linkage (6link), and rear bags
Then the engine will come out and big brake, bags, engine mounted and rhd conversion
Then its peddle box as i dont want a servo + hydraulic clutch on r28
Then cage, seats and new dash
Then turbo and exhaust - probs side exit or will need a tunnel
Then shotblast and paint
Then it needs engine rebuild and forge
Then slow slow slow refurb, powder coat and rebuild
It will take me another year atleast, more likely two
what's the reason for putting the watts linkage on. also if you get bored of the wheels drop me a message I'd be interested in them

The axle already has one and since im not smart enough to work out a triangulated 4 link, i will use parallel
Wats will stop side to side movement

i know that watts linkage controls lateral movement but i thought the kadetts came with a panhard rod not watts linkage. could be wrong though
when you say parallel I'm guessing you mean that you're going to use ladder bars. that's how i mounted mine

Like this

The one pictured will also move back and forward is it rises and falls where as a proper 4 link will stay all in one place and just move up and down

Pain in the arse to fit and paint. Most of it it has carpeted apart from the boxes now.
Going to take sometime to get the rear axle set up.
